Why 27° Works

That slight incline is the difference between lying flat and feeling properly supported.

At 27°, your upper body stays elevated in a more natural, comfortable position through the night.

Less shifting. Easier breathing. Better sleep.

Why VESU Works Better

A proper incline — without stacking, slipping or constant readjusting.

  • ★★★★★

I’m sleeping more comfortably raised up.

“I bought it mainly because lying completely flat wasn’t agreeing with me. The incline feels gradual, not extreme, and I’ve noticed I’m much more settled through the night.”

    Helen, 66, Hobart

  • ★★★★★

    Better than stacking pillows

“I used to prop myself up with two or three pillows and they’d slowly move apart. This just stays where it is. Much less fuss.”

    Karen, 54, Newcastle

  • ★★★★★

My wife noticed the snoring first.

“I was pretty sceptical, but my wife says I’m noticeably quieter when I sleep on it. I also like that it lifts my shoulders as well as my head.”

    Mark, 52, Brisbane

  • ★★★★★

    Really comfortable for reading too.

“I actually use it before I go to sleep as much as I do during the night. Great support for reading, and I don’t need three cushions behind me anymore.”

    Michelle, 55, Perth

  • ★★★★★

    Reflux nights feel much easier.

“My main reason for buying it was reflux. I still use my normal pillow with it, but having my upper body gently raised feels far more comfortable than sleeping flat.”

    Paul, 51, Adelaide

  • ★★★★★

I use it all over the house.

“It started as a bedroom purchase, but now I take it to the sofa when I’m reading. It gives me proper support without feeling like I’m sitting bolt upright.”

    — Hamish, 64, Napier

  • ★★★★★

I wake up with less neck tension.

“I’m at a desk most of the day and my neck is usually pretty tight by bedtime. This supports me more evenly and mornings have been noticeably more comfortable.”

    Andrew, 63, Canberra

  • ★★★★★

    Doesn’t feel hot or sweaty.

“That was honestly my biggest concern. The cover feels soft and breathable, and I haven’t found myself overheating on it even after a full night.”

    Rebecca, 45, Geelong

  • ★★★★★

The angle feels more natural than I expected.

“I thought sleeping elevated might feel awkward, but it’s actually pretty subtle once you’re on it. I’m not constantly shifting around trying to get comfortable.”

    Ethan, 31, Sydney

  • ★★★★★

Firm at first, then it clicked.

“It felt firmer than my usual pillows for the first couple of nights. Once I got used to it, I understood why. It holds me in place and doesn’t collapse underneath me.”

    Margaret, 68, Launceston

What if the height isn't right for my neck?

That's what the strap is for. The roll slides up and down the slope, so you set it once until your chin sits level rather than living with whatever height the factory chose. It's the thing that goes wrong with every fixed-shape pillow.

I sleep on my side. Will this work for me?

Yes, and it's the question we get most. The foam holds the incline under a shoulder rather than collapsing into a V, and the roll gives your neck somewhere to sit when you turn. Expect about a week of it feeling unfamiliar.

Will it fold me in half at the stomach?

No, and that's deliberate. 27 degrees is shallow enough to sleep on all night. Steeper wedges fold you and people abandon them inside a week.

Does it help with reflux?

A lot of people buy it for exactly that. The same incline that keeps the airway open keeps stomach acid where it belongs. If you've been managing reflux with a stack of pillows, this replaces the stack — which is usually also why your neck hurts.

Will it fit my bed?

It's 50 cm across and 50 cm deep, so it sits on one side of a double or larger without crowding the other person. On a king single it takes up most of the width — measure first.

Is this a medical device?

No. It's a positioning aid for comfort and snoring. It doesn't treat, diagnose or cure any condition, and results vary from person to person. If you've been diagnosed with a sleep disorder, or you suspect one, speak to your GP, and don't stop any treatment your doctor has prescribed.
